3. Check the owner’s manual

Many manufacturers of car batteries supply a user manual too.  By reading that manual you can be well informed about its usage and maintenance.

By reading this manual you can also choose the right battery size for your car.

4. Battery freshness

While buying your new car battery, you should check the date of manufacturing like year and month. By looking at that you will know how fresh your battery is.

6. Warranty

A new car battery is expected to serve for at least 2 years or longer. If your battery fails which is not because of your negligence, then the manufacturer should either replace or repair it at no extra cost.

So, you must check the warranties, which are the lifeline of your purchase.

7. Battery brand

There are many different brands available in the market selling car batteries. While buying car batteries, you must consider the brand too.

You must choose car battery manufacturers having good brand names and reputations in the market.
